Skincare is the reflection of your health (both physically and mentally). I know that alot of people in this world suffer from pimples and acne problems.
I am a very lucky girl because I have pretty good and fair skin ever since I was young (thanks mom and dad for your genes!). But I do suffer from some pimple problems every now and then especially when the weather changes to suddenly.
It's only been recently where I've been starting to use IQQU products. I am a huge Michelle Phan fan and after using her products, I have been even a greater fan than before.
So the product I'm reviewing is the IQQU Acne Serum.
Size: 30mL / 1.01oz
Price: US$23.99
Consistency: Light, creamy texture
Smell: Refreshing
The first I used IQQU acne serum, I actually didn't feel that it did much difference to my skin. It was probably because I did manage to break out a little bit from using this. So I stopped using it for about a few months.
Then, I decided to give it another chance. The second time round, this product actually surprised me. So I have been using it twice everyday (day and night) and I am currently using on my second tube.
The first tube I used was packaged in a pump bottle. They have now repacked the serum to a tube which is more hygienic.
Pros: The product feels very light and hydrating on my skin. I apply it right after I cleanse and tone my face (skip the toning if you have dry skin) and before my moisturiser. I have been using this for nearly 1 year + and I did have improvements to my skintone. I have less breakouts and pimple problems.
Cons: When I was finishing my first bottle, I stopped using the product for a few days before my second tube arrived in the mail. Despite having only 2 - 3 days without IQQU acne serum in my daily routine, I started breaking out! So, I think this acne serum works just like any other acne treatments out there. It only cures the acne and pimples while you use it. But once you stop, they do come back.
I would definitely purchase this product again because I think it is a reasonable price to pay for a decent acne/pimple control serum. One tube usually last me for about 6 months which is also reasonable considering that I use it frequently.
If you would like to purchase the IQQU Acne Serum, you can buy it from the IQQU website online!
